“Red sky at night, sailor’s delight” - the old farmer rule gives hope for a new day full of sunshine.
Shortly before the sun goes to sleep, it paints the sky and the clouds over the Mediterranean with a soft pink. Wave crests get a pink touch. The white villas on the steep slope above the sea glow pink.
The sunset is especially splendid when the air is humid. Drops of water in the air reflect the evening light and create romantic magic.
Our tip: the place to be during a sunset on the Costa Brava is the Aigua- molls Natural Park. The second largest wetland in Catalonia consists of numerous lakes and swamps that perfectly reflect the evening sky. Kurz bevor die Sonne sich schlafen legt, taucht sie Himmel und Wolken über dem Mittelmeer in zartes Rosè. Wellenkämme bekommen einen pinken Hauch. Die weißen Villen am Steilhang über dem Meer leuchten Rosarot.
Der Sonnenuntergang ist besonders glanzvoll, wenn die Luft feucht ist. Wassertropfen in der Luft reflektieren das Abendlicht und sorgen für ro- mantischen Zauber.
