Nous apprécions le calme. L’imposant
monastère se dresse devant nous. Sa
première mention offcielle date de 902. Le
début du 10ème siècle fut une période où
l’économie et le monde spirituel étaient en
plein essor. De nombreuses légendes autour
de ce monument des abords pyrénéens ont
perduré jusqu’à nos jours. Elles parlent de tré-
sors enfouis : une chaîne de fer qui aurait ser-
vi à entraver Saint Pierre, une cape de pluie
