El Far de Sant Sebastiá
De Llafranc nous continuons en direction de Tamariu pour rejoindre le phare Far de Sant Sebastiá. Construit en 1857, il est jusqu’à nos jours le phare le plus lumineux de la côte méditerranéenne espagnole. En ce même lieu se trouve également la chapelle de pèlerinage «Ermita de Sant Sebastià» datant du 18ème siècle. L’hôtel-restaurant «El Far» juste à côté invite à une pause sur sa terrasse panoramique : la vue est à couper le souffle : la mer à perte de vue, changeant sans cesse de variations de bleu, encadrée par les forêts de pins et les falaises...
A l’origine, au 15ème siècle, ce bâtiment fut un phare avec logement pour le gardien. En 1999 il a été rénové et transformé en hôtel. Un bijoux ! Nous en profitons pour déjeuner, avant de continuer notre marche jusqu’à Tamariu.

Leaving Llafranc, we continue towards Tamariu, up to the lighthouse of Far de Sant Sebastiá. Built in 1857, it is the brightest tower of the Span- ish Mediterranean coast even today. The coast of Sant Sebastiá also features the baroque pilgrims’ chapel called “Ermita de Sant Sebastiá”. It dates back to the 18th century. Nearby, there is the “El Far” hotel and restaurant, equipped with a patio offering stunning, breathtakingly beau- tiful views onto the sea and its many shades of blue. Onto pine-afringed bays and caves. A long time ago, the hotel itself was a watchtower and lighthouse, a hermit’s refuge in the 15th century. In 1999, the entire ob- ject was renovated and turned into a beautiful small hotel. We enjoy a big lunch, high above the sea. Then, we leave for Tamariu.
